Charlotte W's e-Portfolio: 2016

As part of our CARE programme we meet with our buddy class, Room 24 as often as possible to share our learning and read with a buddy. In addition to finding out what is happening in other classes across the school, we get to read with and be read to by our buddy. We also enjoy seeing our buddies around the school at break times and in assembly.

Measurement

Room 22 and 23 are working together to learn about measurement. We learnt about measurement through the Olympic Games and in PE with Gymnastics.

We are learning to find out what we know about measuring a distance by measuring different lengths and comparing objects.

Reading: A Play - A Terrible Fright

Learning Intention: Using punctuation and expression to make reading interesting for the listener.

Success Criteria: I know I am successful when people enjoy listening to me read and I bring life to a story.

Mrs Coom: Well done, Charlotte. Your practise showed through. Your use of expression made your character very interesting and showed emotion.

Mathematics: Time- Clock Making

Learning intention: I have been learning to design and make a clock and read 1/4 and 1/2 past on the clock.

Sea Creature Passport

Learning Intention:
I have been learning about sea horses and their habitat.
